Bug

Bug

by Stephanie Stebbins

Last night, my husband was looking up new horror movies to watch. Have I mentioned that my husband finds THE BEST movies and we’re both ridiculous horror movie fans? K, just checkin’. We came across a movie entitled Bug which starred Ashley Judd and Harry Connick, Jr. about a woman who falls in love with a man who has paranoid delusional disorder bordering on schizophrenia.

Hot actress…CHECK.
Hot actor….CHECK.
Scary as all hell premise for a movie….CHECK!

I chopped up our fresh veggies, bowled up some lite ranch, grabbed our flavored waters, (we’re so health conscious) and settled us in for a nice movie watching night after the kids hit the sack.

That’s my FAVORITE part of the day!

This movie was AWESOME. I can’t even begin to tell you how SCARY it was. I think the scariest part about it is that I have actually KNOWN people like this in my life who have gone untreated and it always, ALWAYS ended badly. I don’t want to give too much away because I truly think those of you who enjoy horror movies as much as I do should see it.

Pretty scary stuff…what’s even scarier is knowing that there are people out there that TRULY believe some of the things that were in this movie. Fantastic writing, incredible acting, and just an all-around terrifying film…I loved it!
